Lucina-May decided to continue with a MSc in Plant Biotechnology at Wageningen University after finishing her double BSc in Biochemistry and Chemistry at Yonsei University, Seoul, where she also did research in Physical Chemistry and Computational Chemistry. Interested in the intersections of Chemistry and Biology, she chose to write her thesis on Natural Product Cheminformatics, focusing on molecular fingerprints for improved natural product identification.
